My own conclusion: The link was just added as one of the "getting ready for it early" updates, like the arrows behind the characters, but they didnt expect 100,000+ people to try to connect to it in such short time, which probably was creating unneeded server load since the feature isn't even there so why waste the bandwidth - so they just removed the link til its officially released.

Just because the feature is there doesn't mean it's released and working. It's called Beta Testing.

It is called "beta" when it is done on separate dedicated server or as part of announced opt-in event. Otherwise if it appears in official game that people paid money for is either called "official" or "screw up".

Where did you see that then? The only button like that i saw was the upgrades button which is very different..

Low end vidcard don't render the water at all. Atleast none of the integrated Intel chips, stoneage Matrox G550 and budged-line Radeon managed to draw any water, that I have toyed with. It's just one solid color (which seems to change color from black to cyan every logon)

The only upgrades currently known to be in development are the extra character slots.. But eventually maybe they'll add other stuff..

lol 26 characters is 260 dollars...if someone has 2 accounts they can have 64 characters if they pay 520 dollars........lol why would someone need that many lol.Dont get me started on 3 accounts

I read in another forum that the 26 slots was going up to 28 with Nightfall, so it leads me to believe the limit on purchased additional slots is 20, not 26.

No, there's an update tab, and a campaign tab in the screenshot. You update your account with more character slots.

it will be fubar as you are setting up another account and they cant merge accounts.

this sounds like someone is on my side with this. depending on the shader models and bit size for each individual card, some cards could really have a hard time with it.

I dont see why they would put such a high-end style login screen on a game that can run on a 64mb card (i used to...) Not that Im trying to diss on the game- I love the game- Im just very excited to see what all they will do with the GWStore....

Like howabout we can buy Divine Aura and Backup Dancers for those of us too impatient to get them up front! =)

So where did you get the number 28? Last i saw was 32 max slots on a single account which was stated on NCSoft support. 32 - 6 (Prophecies + Factions merged) = 26.

I tried to merge my account with my excisting codes, just because I'm blind and didn't pay any attention. But it said my codes were already used, so I couldn't. I certainly won't try that again.

Cheers Loviatar! I created a PlayNC account just incase, but didn't bother adding my key's to it for that exact reason.

say arena net works til 5pm (although Im thinking they actually work round the clock... due to 3am updates etc) which means we might still see this update fixed within 3 hours!

I trust that they will have this store thing sorted out by tomorrow- its too much money hanging in the balance for them to take their time on it.

I bet when it crashed originally, some people got shifted around in the office to help work on it.

Think about it- half a million people buy a 10 dollar slot= 5 million dollars easy within 24 hours of implementation.

They REALLY want this to work as soon as possible, have no doubt.
